Amplify understands what eduction needs

Just about everywhere I look, the seed of technology has blossomed. Take my life as example. My phone, computer and tablet are vital tools that keep me connected, informed and adept in my profession.

Strangely, of all the places the tools of technology have hit, there remains one place they continue to miss: the classroom.

Our schools carry on by way of archaic processes. Take textbooks, for example. As is, schools buy set after set of these, only to have old copies sit unused in workrooms. It’s a waste of space and millions of dollars. I think of my kids coming home with backpacks on the brink of explosion, filled with five different texts, binders, paper, pencils and library books. It’s crazy.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could cut the fat and have one tool that that covers all the bases?

We do now, thanks to Amplify.

Screen Shot 2013-06-12 at 9.17.28 AMAmplify is a home run. It can be a singular tool that works in conjunction with the Common Core curriculum, which has now been approved for 45 states. The opportunities are endless. Should the tablet, interface and apps be as intuitive as described, the word Amplify will not only describe the tablet, but the boom it’s making in our schools. I am scratching my head, why haven’t other players in the tablet field jumped on this opportunity?

It has been time for technological shift in our schools, and thanks to Amplify for not missing it.
