Airlines are such jesters

Greetings from happy time at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport. It’s a such a great time today flying through the air. The friendly skies, you bet!

Last night, I flew in on US Airways after only an hour delay because it was just so comical to the rest of us how the crew could not get one of the engines started. Hilarious!

But that was just child play’s compared to the comedy we saw today. Sitting in the airport before boarding, I saw the same crew from last night boarding to fly our plane. Here comes the Marx Brothers! Hilarity is sure to ensue.

I was so in the mood for hijinks, having gotten up at 4:30 a.m. to make this 7 a.m. flight. So when we sat in the aircraft for two hours while US Air searched for something called the “O” ring, I thought I had discovered the mother lode of comedy gold.

Just now I’ve been told that we’ll miss our connections – “You have the brain of a four-year-old, and I’m sure he’d like to have it back,” as Groucho would say – which means I’ll laughing all through the four-hour layover that awaits me.

I tell you. I don’t think I can handle this much more. Can’t wait for bankruptcy court and any proposed  government bailout. Then I’m gonna completely lose it.
